I got started in Beadmaking a few years ago while making lawn ornaments, someone suggested I add some glasswork to them. So I went out and bought a kit with a book and a hot head torch. After using up the supplies that came with the kit I walked into Wale Apparatus and saw just how much more there was to beadmaking. I came home with a new torch, tons of glass and went to work, I made beads and some jewelry and started selling some of my work to local shops in Emmaus Pennsylvania. I then decided to get some formal training and over the next couple years I took a class with John Winters and shortly after that I got interested in Borosilicate creating pendants and other glass items as well as beads. I also took classes with Cynthia Saari and Brent Graber to expand my knowledge of Lampworking.

I am a member of the International Society for Glass Beadmaking, Member #Q8223, and am Vice President of the Penndragons, Eastern Pennsylvania chapter of the ISGB.
